Mark Hamill Gives His Verdict on Jared Leto's Joker
Mark Hamill spoke with Polygon on his new series Mark Hamill's Pop Culture Quest, and in the process he gave his thoughts on Jared Leto's performance as the iconic character in Suicide Squad.
"Everyone brings a different spin to the character ... I don’t think there’s a definitive version of the Joker and I don’t think there can be. It’s like Hamlet, really. It’ll be constantly redefined."
Hamill said that he "hasn’t seen an interpretation yet that’s made him go, "That was terrible," and actually told Polygon that he loved Leto's performance.
