Marvel Confirms 'Black Widow' Film Will Happen
A Black Widow film has long been rumored and wanted by fans. Marvel President Kevin Feige confirms that Marvel is "committed" to a Black Widow film.
Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow has been a fan-favorite in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After multiple reports, Kevin Feige said Marvel is committed to making a Black Widow film. Although it will be awhile before it reaches the big screen. Marvel's Phase Three is already set, and Captain Marvel will be the first female lead in a Marvel film with 2018's Captain Marvel. So that would leave it for Phase Four. Unless they do a swap of movies, Black Widow would make her solo debut in the "Distinctly Different" Phase Four. (I'm writing an article about the possibilities of Phase Four). Fans have also clamored to see a Black Widow TV Series on Netflix. Similar to Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and soon The Punisher.
It may be a long time before Black Widow makes her solo big screen debut. This will be an interesting story to follow.
