Marvel's 'Iron Fist' Adds 'Lord of the Rings' Alum
Marvel and Netflix continue to bolster its cast for the upcoming series, and have now added David Wenham (Lord of the Rings, 300) as Harold Meachum.
Centered on a martial-arts warrior imbued with a mystical power known as the Iron Fist, the series follows a native New Yorker raised in an alternate-dimension city where he attained his martial arts and supernatural skills, who returns home to fight crime in his city.
Meachum is described as a ruthless corporate leader who was partners with Danny's own partners at the time of their deaths. He plays a role in Danny's past and present that will be revealed throughout the duration of the season.
wenham will be seen next in Nicole Kidman's Lion and the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean sequel.
