Marvel's Spider-Man to Get IMAX Release
Yet to be given a title, Marvel and Sony's solo Spider-Man film will receive the biggest release possible, debuting on IMAX screens everywhere come 2017.
With Jon Watts directing, the film stars Tom Holland as the third web slinger in 15 years, unique in that Marvel has finally got a hand in the character's fate.
“Imax’s long-standing relationship with Marvel and Sony first began with ‘Spider-Man’ in 2002, establishing the ultimate way for fans to be transported into the world of their favorite characters like Peter Parker," said IMAX's Greg Forster said.
The film will swing into theatres July 7 2017.
