Marvel's 'The Defenders' Bringing Back Two Characters from Previous Netflix Hits
Two more names have been confirmed for return in the upcoming crossover miniseries, The Defenders, bringing together Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist to take on Sigourney Weaver's unknown villain.
Deborah Ann Woll is returning as Karen Page from Daredevil. The character became a reporter at the end of season 2, and she is back in the mix for spin-off series Punisher. Her role is becoming quite prominent in the web of shows, so it makes sense that she'll be back.
Simone Missick debuted as detective Misty Knight in Luke Cage, and will be back again for Iron Fist. She gains her own superpowers via a bionic arm, but isn't quite there yet by the time Luke Cage cut to black at the end of season 1.
The Defenders makes its debut in 2017.
