Michael Pena is Returning for the 'Ant-Man' Sequel
Michael Pena played your run-of-the-mill comic relief in Ant-Man, and whether you loved him or hated him, you're gonna have to deal with him on the screen again if you're someone who can't resist seeing the sequel.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is set to include Pena's character Luis, who is Scott Lang's former cellmate and one of Ant-Man's allies. Production is intended to start next year, and will be directed by Peyton Reed. Paul Rudd is back in a starring role, while Evangeline Lilly gets elevated to titular role as the Wasp.
“I always thought of Ant-Man and Wasp as a team and that’s a lot of what the second movie is really about is how they work together, what their personal and professional relationships are like. To show her finally fully formed in this movie is really exciting," Reed said previously regarding Lilly's Wasp.
The film is slated for July 6, 2018.
