Mike Flanagan's 'The Haunting of Bly Manor' wraps production
Filming has wrapped on the set of Mike Flanagan’s The Haunting of Bly Manor!
The talented writer and director of Shirley Jackson's reimagining of The Haunting of Hill House confirmed the news earlier on Twitter:
❝That’s a wrap on THE HAUNTING OF BLY MANOR. Congratulations to the cast and crew, the familiar faces and the new, and congratulations to the filmmakers who came on board to make this season their own.❞
Fans of Hill House can breathe a giant sigh of relief knowing the Crain’s pain and anguish has officially come to an end as Bly Manor will explore the subjects of Henry James late 19th-century horror novella, The Turn of the Screw.
Victoria Pedretti, who played elder Nell Crain (Bent-Neck Lady), will play - "Dani"- a governess who is sent to care for two unusual children out in a country manor called Bly. Much like Shirley Jackson’s eerie and ghostly Hill House, Bly Manor is also the home of evil apparitions looking to possess the souls of the two children Dani has been tasked to look after.
Additionally Bly will feature the return of fellow Hill House alum, Oliver Jackson-Cohen (who plays a “charming fellow” named Peter), along with Henry Thomas and Kate Siegel whose characters are being kept under wraps.

The Haunting of Bly Manor will debut on Netflix in 2020.
