Negan's Group Gains Two Important Characters in New 'Walking Dead' Casting
Two roles from straight out of the source material have been added into the seventh season of AMC's The Walking Dead. Lindsley Register and Elizabeth Ludlow have joined the show as Laura and Arat respectively.
Both characters are important to Negan's regime, alongside Dwight and Simon. Laura herself doesn't enter the story until much later in the series, and at that point Negan is no longer the leader of the Saviours.
"I can definitively say that my dear friend Liz is not playing Laura, as that is me," said Register. "We've got a crazy season lined up for you guys." Register appeared briefly in the opening montage sequence for the most recent episode. Meanwhile, Arat will debut in episode 4.
