Neil Brown Jr. of 'Straight Outta Compton' Joins 'LAbyrinth'
Neil Brown Jr. has joined the Biggie-Tupac crime thriller LAbyrinth, which follows a disgraced police detective and a journalist, both of whom seek redemption, determined to find the truth behind the murders of the rappers.
Brown joins Johnny Depp and Forest Whitaker, and will play a former dirty LAPD officer named Rafael Perez. He was a central figure in the Rampart Scandal, and was accused of murdering Notorious B.I.G.
Brad Furman is directing the picture, which comes off the Black List written by Christian Contreras, and adapted from Randall Sullivan's book.
