Netflix Lands Rights to Korean Nuclear Disaster Pic 'Pandora'

HaydnSpurrell HaydnSpurrell Netflix has won the global rights to Pandora, a South Korean nuclear disaster blockbuster from Next Entertainment World. It is a highly anticipated film in its home region, and is directed by Park Jung-Woo, who is a proven award-winning writer.

From next year, the film will be available for streaming in 190 countries. In December, it makes its theatrical release in Korea. The film tells the story of a small town blown apart by a disaster, when an unexpected earthquake hits the nuclear power plant.
