Netflix Renews Pablo Escobar Series 'Narcos' for Second Season
Streaming numbers for the new series Narcos must have pleased Netflix, as they've just renewed Narcos for a second season, less than 1 week after the show's premiere.
It's a good thing (without spoiling anything) for people who saw the open ending of season 1, and anyone considering to binge-watch the series.
Another thing that might do the series some good, is Adam Fierro taking over as showrunner of the series, as arguably (although entertaining) the first season of Narcos had some pretty weak writing here and there. Fierro was a writer and co-producer of shows like The Shield, Dexter, 24 and The Walking Dead.
THR reports the series had been anticipating the renewal for a second season, so big chance the next season will drop around the same time in 2016.
