Netflix Sets Release Date for Marvel's Luke Cage
With Daredevil season 2 just a week away, it's an exciting time for Marvel on TV. But when fans breeze through that season, they'll be itching for more. At the premiere for Daredevil's return in New York, Luke Cage himself gave away some exciting news.
Mike Colter, who plays the character, revealed that the series will debut September 30 this year. "Daredevil premieres on March 18, and I will see the fans on September 30," Colter announced in a video interview.
Cage was introduced in the first seasoon of Jessica Jones, but when we meet him in his own series, he'll be a "fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city, forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury."
