Netflix unveils the first trailer for Marvel's 'The Punisher'
While the release date for Marvel's The Punisher is STILL being kept under wraps, we finally got our first look at Netflix's 13-episode adaptation starring Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle.
"I'm going to kill them all"
If the 2 minute and 28 second trailer achieves anything, it definitely sets the tone for what appears to be Netflix's most brutal adapted series yet. Colored with violent-filled imagery, the first look starts with a dream-like glimpse of a life that has all but dissolved into a living nightmare after his wife is shot point blank. The first look also features a few of Frank's 'friends' including Matt Murdock's former assistant, Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll), BFF and ex-special forces member Billy Russo (Ben Barnes) - who appears to be joyously walking away from a rigged explosion - and former NSA analyst Micro (Ebon Moss-Bachrach). And if the conspiracy goes as deep as we think, Frank will need their help when facing Homeland Security Agent Dinah Madani (Amber Rose Revah) and the man who wants Frank dead, CIA officer Rawlins (Paul Schulze).

The Punisher is created by Steven Lightfoot (Hannibal) and is based on Marvel's Punisher co-created by Gerry Conway and John Romita, Sr.
