New 'John Wick 3' image brings Winston and Bowery King together
Winston and Bowery cross paths in Wick's canonical universe, but for what cause?
The exclusive production pic features two of New York's lead dogs - Ian McShane’s "Winston" and Laurence Fishburne’s "Bowery King" - together on what appears to be the rooftop of NYC’s Continental Hotel.
The picture, captioned: "Old friends. New enemies. Chapter 3. #JohnWick3," certainly tips the hand that New York's underground crime lord (Fishburne) and the owner of the illustrious Continental Hotel (McShane) are destined to meet. But for what cause? Based on Bowery’s very unBowery-like threads, it’s fair to say something of significance that likely connects to John’s excommunicado status.
‘Old friends’ with a shared enemy (High Table)? Perhaps they are the key to helping John escape from New York. We shall see!
‘John Wick: Parabellum’ is currently in production and is slated to hit theaters May 17, 2019.
