New Line Lands Remake Rights to "The Man From Nowhere"
New Line has obtained the remake rights to the 2010 Korean box office hit, The Man From Nowhere. Lee Jeong-beom directed the film, which became the highest grossing movie at the Korean box office in 2010 with $41 million.
The Man From Nowhere "follows a quiet pawnshop keeper with a violent past who takes on a drug- and organ-trafficking ring to save the child who is his only friend."
At this time, no director, writer or cast is attached to the remake.
