A look into the new season, debuting July 16 on HBO
New photos from the seventh season of Game of Thrones are here and they offer a mix of episode stills and behind the scenes set photos. Among the seven new photos published by Entertainment Weekly, we get an affable looking Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) smiling for the cameras. Is Brienne of Tarth smiling at Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju)? What are Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) plotting? And then there’s Daenerys sitting atop Dracarys, the massive 747 sized dragon, in what appears to be an incredibly brutal battle. Did Daenerys and crew make it to Westeros after all?
