Noomi Rapace in talks to join Will Smith in David Ayer's 'Bright'
Noomi Rapace is in talks to join Will Smith and Joel Edgerton in David Ayer's Bright, which has recently been acquired by Netflix in a deal that's made everybody involved happy.
The film is said to take place in a world of orcs and fairies, creatures that live among the humans. Sources claim the film is not going to take place in the present day, and the project will be in a similar vein to Ayer's End of Watch.
Max Landis wrote the spec, and the project surprisingly fell short of a studio signing given the talent involved. Netflix has committed a $90 million cheque for the budget, and spent $3 million acquiring the thing.
