'Ocean's Eleven' Reboot Eyeing Jennifer Lawrence to Star Alongside Sandra Bullock
Following in similar footsteps to the upcoming Ghostbusters sequel, a rebooted Ocean's Eleven film with a female-centric cast is closer to adding its next star to the ensemble.
The Tracking Board is reporting that Jennifer Lawrence is in talks to join Sandra Bullock, who has a leading role in the film, which is set to be directed by Lawrence's Hunger Games director Gary Ross.
The film would be a reboot/sequel hybrid and continuation of the Clooney-led trilogy. Bullock will play an ex-con who is also Danny Ocean's sister. With her ensemble team, she will attempt to steal a necklace from the Met Ball and frame a crooked gallery owner for the heist.
The project is expected to begin filming this fall.
