Origins of the First Order and Resistance to be Revealed in Princess Leia Star Wars Novel
Since Disney bought Lucasfilm, everything is now in canon. The books, comics, and TV shows give accurate portrayals to the mysteries surrounding the Star Wars galaxy.
Claudia Gray, who has previously written Star Wars novel Lost Stars, is back to write another phenomenal Star Wars story. The official title, Bloodline, is set six years before Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The book will focus on Leia's ugly breakup with the New Republic. The book will give a detailed description on how the Resistance and the First Order came to be. Yes, the factions came from the ashes of the Empire and the Rebellion but this novel will give the complete story. Author Claudia Gray even got together with Episode VIII director Rian Johnson to get more details and information.
