Oscar Isaac In Talks To Join "The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara"
Oscar Isaac is currently in talks to star in Steven Spielberg's The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara. At this time it isn't known what character Isaac would play. Mark Rylance, who has worked with Spielberg on Bridge of Spies and The BFG, is already attached to the project.
Tony Kushner (Munich, Lincoln) penned the script based on the novel written by David Kertzer. It is believed by industry insiders that the religious drama will be Spielberg's next film after Ready Player One.
