'Pacific Rim 2' Gets a New Title
Initially confirmed as Pacific Rim: Maelstrom, the sequel to Guillermo del Toro's cult hit has been renamed to Pacific Rim: Uprising.
The title change came at a press release that concerned the hiring of new producers at Legendary Pictures. Del Toro is producing while Daredevil Season 1 showrunner Stephen S. DeKnight is directing.
