Patton Oswalt and More Join Bryan Fuller's Remake of 'Amazing Stories'
Hannibal executive producer Bryan Fuller was confirmed to shepherd the revival of anthology series Amazing Stories some time ago now, and finally the sci-fi and fantasy series gets some serious news to present to us.
Speaking at SXSW while promoting American Gods, Fuller said "“We are working on a variety of scripts from a variety of sources, and we’ve got a lot of really great writers involved. So it feels like I’m curating the Amazing Stories magazine and I get to work with Patton Oswalt and Kumail Nanjiani and Emily Gordon and Jane Goldman.”
Oswalt is a gifted writer as well as a popular comedian. Kumail Najiani and Emily Gordon, meanwhile, are fresh off their Sundance hit The Big Sick. The duo wrote the script and are a prolific comedy programming team. Jane Goldman penned the scripts for Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class, X-Men: Days of Future Past, and Kingsman: The Secret Service.
