Paul Thomas Anderson to Premiere 'Janun' at New York Film Festival
Running from the 25th of September to the 11th of October, the documentary headlining the festival details Anderson and composer Jonny Greenwood's tour into the northwest of India.
There, in Rajasthan, Greenwood and Radiohead's Nigel Godrich recorded an album with Israeli composer Shye Ben Tzur. The film focuses on this trip, with a short run-time of 54 minutes.
The festival, presented by the Film Society of Lincoln Centre, will also present revivals of older films, such as the Coen Brother's 'O' Brother, Where Art Thou?' starring George Clooney. It will be the film's 25th anniversary.
