'Prison Break' Alum Robert Knepper Joins 'Homeland'
Robert Knepper, of Prison Break fame, has joined the cast of Homeland for the terrorism drama's sixth season, Showtime has confirmed.
Knepper will play a recurring role in the new season as General Jamie McClendon, the Department of Defense representative. He is tasked with briefing the president-elect, played by Elizabeth Marvel, and her team.
Knepper is part of the current Fox revival of Prison Break, reprising his role as T-Bag. He is also lined up to appear in Showtime's Twin Peaks, in an undisclosed role. Homeland's sixth season premieres January 15.
