Production Begins on 'I Kill Giants'
Over a year ago, it was announced that popular graphic novel I Kill Giants would come to life on the big screen, and now principal photography has finally begun.
Creator Joe Kelly revealed the news via Twitter. "In other news, #IKillGiants has begun principal shooting today. So excited, so proud and so lucky I met@ken_niimura!"
Zoe Saldana, Madison Wolfe, and Imogen Poots all star in the film. It's being directed by Anders Walter, with Chris Colombus as producer.
“Joe Kelly has written a deeply insightful story about a child using fantasy to navigate through a harsh reality, and I am excited and proud to finally be able to bring this wonderful material to the screen," Colombus said of the project.
“I’m overwhelmed by the enthusiasm, vision and sheer talent of the team we’ve assembled. Chris and Anders understand the book on an instinctive level and will translate it into a hell of a film. I could not be happier," Kelly said.
