Production begins on 'Thor: Ragnarok
Director Taika Waititi has revealed via Twitter that production has begun on the next Thor film, following a congratulatory message from fellow New Zealand native Peyton Reed, who happens to be the director for Ant-Man.
The film is being shot on Australia's Gold Coast, at the Village Roadshow Studios in Oxenford, and using every sound stage available at the location. Filming will extend to Sydney, Brisbane, and further parts of Queensland before wrapping in October.
It is slated for November 3, 2017 release date, and stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, and Cate Blanchett.
