Richard Linklater Comedy Brought Forward, Horror Sequel 'Rings' Delayed
Paramount has announced that Richard Linkater's 1980s college baseball comedy Everybody Wants Some has been shifted from April 15 (for wide release) to April 1 (for limited release).
The film will be expanded on April 8 and April 15, reaching a wider market over the two week period. Meanwhile, the studio's horror trilogy film Rings has been pushed back from April 1 to October 28, coming up against Lionsgate's untitled horror film, as well as Ron Howard's third Dan Brown feature Inferno.
