Ron Perlman and Colin Farrell Rumoured for Justice League Dark
With a script by Guillermo del Toro in hand, it seems Warner Bros. wants to move forward with their Justice League Dark film. The Latino Review reports a rumour that production is looking to tie down two actors for roles in the film.
Rumour says that Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor have both been approached for a role. Those roles set to be filled are those of Etrigan, Zatanna, Swamp Thing, Constantine, and Deadman.
It is said that if one of these two actors is signed on as Constantine, the other will be offered Jason Blood, the Demon Etrigan's human host.
For Swamp Thing, Ron Perlman was named as del Toro's own suggestion, and now it looks as though WB is pursuing him for the part. Further reports suggest that Monica Belluci is coming in as immortal magician/sage Madame Xanadu, while for Zatanna they're seeking a black or hispanic actress.
None of this can be taken with complete sincerity, since no production schedule or release date, nor even a director, has been announced. Should Suicide Squad continue to garner excitement, it may be a project that WB will want to fast forward as an almost companion to their other dark property.
