Ron Perlman and Michael Shannon Have Wrapped Up Filming 'Pottersville'.

NadiaA71 Indie drama comedy Pottersville have wrapped up filming in upstate New York. The project is a team-up between Ron Perlman's production company Wing and a Prayer and Michael Shannon's Plot Four Productions. Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), Judy Greer (Jurassic World), Ian McShane (Deadwood) and Tom Lennon (The Odd Couple) are also cast in this film.

The story of Pottersville centers on Maynard (Shannon) a local businessman who was mistaken as the legendary Bigfoot during an inebriated romp through the town in a makeshift gorilla suit. The sighting sets off an international Bigfoot media spectacle and a windfall of tourism dollars for a simple American town hit by hard times. When Brock Masterson (Thomas Lennon) reality TV's Monster Hunter, arrives to hunt the beast, Maynard agonizes over whether to come clean, destroying the rebirth of his beloved town, or perpetuate the inadvertent hoax.

Pottersville is directed by Seth Henrikson and based on a script by Dan Meyer. The film's release date is yet to be announced.
