Ryan Gosling Bringing Jeff Lemire's Graphic Novel 'The Underwater Welder' to Film
The Oscar-nominated La La Land star Ryan Gosling has teamed with Ken Kao's Waypoint and Anonymous Content to produce an adaptation of Award-winning writer and artist Jeff Lemire's The Underwater Welder.
The Underwater Welder was published by Top Shelf/IDW, and follows a man whose profession is underwater welding, and who then has a supernatural encounter at the bottom of the sea. Lemire is onboard to executive produce alongside Top Shelf Editor-in-Chief Chris Staros and IDW CEO and Publisher Ted Adams.
Meanwhile, Gosling can next be seen in Terrence Malick's Song to Song, before the sci-fi sequel Blade Runner 2049.
