Ryan Reynolds Congratulates The Avengers on Opening Weekend
Deadpool decided to congratulate Avengers: Infinity War in a way he only could. After the cinematic event had a record breaking opening weekend.
The film secured the biggest worldwide opening of all time with $630 million. In a hilarious tweet Ryan Reynolds posts a letter from none other than Tony Stark, the leader of The Avengers.
Reynolds tweeted:
From a guy who never knows when to quit, I’m glad you guys never did. Congrats #Avengers. pic.twitter.com/voJshTKx5E— Ryan Reynolds (@VancityReynolds) April 29, 2018
Tony Stark replies with a letter marked from Stark Industries “Re: Joining the Avengers. No. Absolutely not. Go bother Prof X. No”, the fictional letter reads, dated from 2012.
Although it looks like Deadpool won't be joining The Avengers (for now). The sequel to the 2016 R-rated superhero film will be out in theaters soon. Plot details for the sequel are scarce. We do know that Deadpool will be interacting with Cable, who will be played by Josh Brolin. Who also played the villain Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.
Hopefully we get a Deadpool/ Avengers related post-credit.
Deadpool hits theaters on May 18.
