Ryan Reynolds Reacts to 'Deadpool' Oscar Snub
With some awards victories in the last couple of months, at least with nominations, Deadpool was something of an anomaly heading to the reveal of nominees for the 89th Academy Awards. In the end, the dark superhero comedy has missed out, despite some Golden Globes love that rewarded Ryan Reynolds with a best actor nomination.
Reynolds has taken to Twitter to respond to the news, and clearly he's not taking it too difficultly. "Regularly scheduled tickle-fight at Camp #Deadpool is still on. Congrats to all the nominees for these brilliant films. #Oscars2017
Creator Rob Liefeld also remained positive. "Can I just go on the record and say I don't think Deadpool was snubbed? The film touched & thrilled so many worldwide. Mission Accomplished."
