Ryan Reynolds Reveals How Long He Wants to Play Deadpool
Ryan Reynolds has not been quiet about his love and passion for the role of Deadpool, and that unsurprisingly hasn't diminished in the slightest.
Reynolds was questioned on whether he would have any interest in reprising his role in the 2020 confirmed Green Lantern movie, and Reynolds gave the sci-fi franchise the cold shoulder, essentially.
"I never want to play another comic book character again; Deadpool, I would like to play for the rest of my life - that'd be fun."
Early estimates have Deadpool being an astounding success, which is not a shock given the film's stellar marketing campaign. And a successful run means the character isn't going anywhere any time soon.
Given this is his third time lucky (playing the disappointingly rendered Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine on top of Green Lantern), it's not a surprise that if Deadpool fails, he walks away from the comic book sector. But that's a massive, unlikely if.
