Shea Whigham Joins "Death Note"

rodneyholley Shea Whigham (Boardwalk Empire, True Detective) has been added to the cast of Netflix's Death Note. Whigham will play James Turner; the father of Light Turner played by Nat Wolff (Paper Towns, The Fault in Our Stars).

Adam Wingard (The Guest, You're Next) is directing the feature based on a script written by Jeremy Slater (Fantastic Four, The Lazarus Effect). Death Note is expected to be released in 2017.
