Sigourney Weaver Talks Scale and Her Role in Marvel's 'The Defenders'
Sigourney Weaver is set to play the big bad taking on all four of the Defenders who have (excluding Iron Fist) all been introduced via their own seasons so far. Speaking to Movies.com, Weaver was openly happy to be "in the Marvel with a small 'M.'"
"Meanwhile, I am doing The Defenders, which is a lot of fun," she said. "It has a wonderful cast, and we're doing it right here in New York, which means a lot to me."
She commented on the heroes she'll be facing off against, who she doesn't regard as superheroes. "To me they're not superheroes; they're people with a gift. It's just a different scale, and I'm really enjoying the scale of it. The apocalyptic thing is a little harder for me to understand."
