'Snow White and the Huntsman' Sequel Gets Official Title
The sequel to the 2012 film was initially titled The Huntsman, but has now been officially re-titled to The Huntsman Winter's War, scheduled to hit theaters April 22 next year.
The fantasy adventure sequel casts aside Kristen Stewart and brings bak Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron. They are also joined by Jessica Chastain and Emily Blunt, rounding out a pretty solid cast.
Cedric Nicolas-Troyan takes over directing duties from Sanders, who directed the previous film. Blunt's role is that of Theron's sister, who flees the kingdom after suffering from betrayal. She gains the power to freeze enemies, ultimately becoming an Ice Queen. Hemsworth and Chastain play her trusted lieutenants.
