Spider-Man's Solo Film Will Feature More Marvel Studios Characters, According to Kevin Feige
Sony and Marvel's deal that saw Spider-Man cross the threshold and join the Marvel Cinematic Universe was welcome news for... pretty much everyone. And the most exciting part, perhaps, for fans is that they get to see the webslinger in the same playground as Iron Man, Captain America, and co.
Speaking with EW, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has confirmed that Spider-Man's solo upcoming film will not be entirely solo, and instead will include existing Marvel characters to show just how involved Spidey now is.
"He is in the universe now, and the fun of the universe is that characters go back and forth," Feige said.
He didn't elaborate, instead leaving us to dwell on who might join Tom Holland in the film, which arrives July 7, 2017. It's likely that we'll get a better idea in the fallout of the universe-changing events set to take place in Civil War.
