Steppenwolf and Parademons Confirmed for 'Justice League'
After fans speculated following the release of a deleted scene involving Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor, and particularly following Batman's knightmare sequence, executive producer Deborah Snyder has confirmed the villain for Justice League.
Steppenwolf is an uncle to Darkseid, and is one of the leader's most trusted lieutenants. Snyder was hesitant when asked of casting, though did insist that they are close to finalizing a deal.
Steppenwolf will lead an army of Parademons, the creatures first seen in that Knightmare sequence. There's plenty of hints toward Steppenwolf and Darkseid's role to play in Batman v Superman, so it will be fun to look for all of them when the film hits shelves.
Justice League is set for November 17, 2017.
