'Suicide Squad' Reigning Champ at Overseas Box Office
After a $133.3 million debut internationally, Suicide Squad has earned a further $58.7 million in its second weekend, taking its international tally to $242.5 million and its overall to $465.4 million.
This marks a 56% decline from its opening weekend, not quite as bad as Batman v Superman's record-breaking 66%. It is, however, worse than companions in the genre Guardians of the Galaxy (40.5%) and Deadpool (36%).
Suicide Squad is out now, and stars Will Smith and Margot Robbie. It is directed by David Ayer.
