'Suicide Squad' Score Coming from 'Gravity' Composer
Suicide Squad has certainly taken off with an early marketing boost, bundled in with a huge rev up for Batman v Superman and the rest of the DC lineup's future.
Throwing together the worst villains imaginable to team up for a mission that hasn't been made clear yet is a bold move for the DC universe as it attempts to establish itself, though what we've seen of it matches the gritty, dark aesthetic of what we've seen from Batman v Superman.
Academy Award winner Steven Price will compose the soundtrack for the film. His work on Gravity earned him the trophy, and justifiably so. The soundtrack for Gravity is pulsating, a thrilling addition that heightens the experience of that film. What he can bring to Suicide Squad is an exciting thing to consider.
Price also worked with director/writer David Ayer on 2014's Brad Pitt-starring Fury.
