'Supergirl' Casts a Former Wonder Woman as U.S. President for Season 2
Former Wonder Woman Lynda Carter is taking the leap back into the DC universe, albeit on the small screen and in a less superheroic role this time around. She's been tapped to play the U.S. president for the second season of Supergirl.
Carter has limited TV appearances, most notably in Two and a Half Men. She played Wonder Woman in the 1970s TV series, and more recently tarred in the London West End production of Chicago.
