Tarantino Musing on Kill Bill vol. 3
Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino in a recent interview with Ben Mankiewicz of 'What The Flick?!', stirred up some old rumors that he may do Kill Bill vol.3.
That the epic revenge bloodbath with Uma Thurman as 'The Bride' will continue is “a possibility" he said, " [I’ll] stop short of saying a probability,”
This is not the first time Tarantino mentioned Kill Bill vol.3. In a 2009 interview the director said that he would do the third sequel but only after 10 years since the end of Vol. 2.
In Kill Bill vol.3, according to A.V. Club, Tarantino wants to focus on Copperhead's (Vivica A. Fox) daughter who seeks out Beatrix 'The Bride' Kiddo to avenge her mother. This would coincide with the 10 year lapse as the daughter would be an adult by now. And in the mean time Beatrix would have some time off and raise her daughter. “I wanted her to have this much time for peace,” said Tarantino
It has been 11 years now since The Bride killed Bill and so far the project remains unconfirmed. But hopefully, it's on Tarantino's list.
