The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist Has Begun Filming
After directing the summer box office hit Fast & Furious 7, James Wan has returned to the horror genre that he is well-known for. Currently, he is filming The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist in the UK. Wan, who also directed The Conjuring and Insidious, recently shared a set picture with Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as Ed and Lorraine Warren, the famed husband and wife paranormal investigators.
The plot of the movie is currently undisclosed but the title suggest that it would be based on the poltergeist claims that occurred in a council home in the 70’s in Enfield, England. The real Ed and Lorraine Warren had investigated this case.
Joining the cast of this movie are Frances O’Connor (The Hunter, AI) and Maria Doyle Kennedy (The Tudors).
The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist is expected to be released in June, 2016
