The CW Puts 'Weaveworld' Adaptation into Development
Capitalising on HBO's hit new series Westworld, maybe? Probably not. In any case, The CW has set up a writer on its Weaveworld project, an adaptation of Clive Barker's 1987 dark fantasy novel.
Josh Stolberg will write the adaptation, as well as executive produce alongside Barker and Angela Mancuso for CBS TV Studios. For some time, CW has focused on Weaveworld as a priority but has struggled to align the stars.
In the new series, two ordinary people find themselves on a quest to find and protect a magical realm and ultimately to save all of humanity from an evil force.
