The CW's 'Riverdale' Getting a Tie-In Comic from Archie
Archie Comics has announced that a tie-in comic book will debut in 2017, related directly to the events unfolding in the CW's Riverdale series.
It will be a one-shot release written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (who is showrunner on the series) and with art by Alitha Martinez. Set in the world of the TV series, it will feature the new takes on the characters that will come to light on the small screen.
The series is expected to debut in January of 2017, though no date has been made public.
