The Dawn of Broken Records as Batman v Superman Soars toward $200 Million
Batman v Superman has seen enormous numbers come its way, with an estimated worldwide total take just shy of $200 Million and an international take of $115.3 million.
The numbers include a $20 million day one total in China. The film pulled in an estimated opening day tally of $82 million. If the estimates ring true, it will make the film the fourth largest opening day of all time, nudging Jurassic World out of the spot, which tallied $81.9 million on day one.
If these estimates hold true, then the film is looking at a few records come Monday when the official numbers start rolling in. We'll be sure to report those numbers as they appear.
