'The Flash' Movie loses its Director
DC's extended universe is going through the ringer as it sets itself up for years to come, but The Flash is the first superhero to appear with a question mark hovering over his head.
Previously announced writer and director Seth Grahame-Smith has departed the upcoming superhero film due to "creative differences." Grahame-Smith is still working on two other films for Warner Bros., but on this occasion it seems his vision was different to the studio's.
With Ezra Miller lined up to star in the film, its unclear what's to come of the film, though expect Warner Bros. to hunt for a new director rather than postpone the film, as the studio looks to cement confidence in its slate.
Grahame-Smith is a well known author whose previous work includes Pride & Prejudice & Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, both of which have now been made into feature films.
His script will remain intact for the film, despite his departure from the director's chair. The film is slated for March 16, 2018.
