"The Magicians" Renewed For Season Two
Syfy has renewed The Magicians for a second season of 13 episodes. The drama series follows students at Brakebills University learning to use and enhance their magical abilities and has been described as Harry Potter in college. Season two will air sometime in 2017.
David Lowe, Syfy President, had this to say about the renewal: "Thanks to an extraordinarily gifted creative team of executive producers and our partners at Universal Cable Productions, THE MAGICIANS has become a buzzed-about hit, enchanting fans of the novels as well as attracting new and younger audiences to Syfy."
The first season of The Magicians is currently airing on Mondays at 9pm eastern.
