The Marvel Cinematic Universe Reaches $10 Billion at the Box Office
The MCU has made an enormous imprint on modern film, and since Disney acquired Marvel Studios back in 2009 the company hasn't looked back. With at least one new film a year, and two since 2011, they've reaped the rewards.
The MCU has now earned over $10 billion at the box office internationally. Avengers is of course the top earner followed by Age of Ultron. The Incredible Hulk is the weakest of the lot (though still with over $260 million at the box office).
Marvel will continue to make massive numbers, with a huge slate of films to come from now to 2020. Civil War is dominating the box office, and Doctor Strange is sure to do well come November 4.
