The Nut Job 2 Gets a May 2017 Release Date
Open Road Films has stuck a pin in the May 19, 2017 Calendar slot for their sequel to surprise animated 2014 hit The Nut Job, which grossed $120.9 million worldwide.
The film was the biggest box office opening ever for an independent animated film. Will Arnett, Katherine Heigl, Maya Rudolph, Gabriel Iglesias, and Jeff Dunham will all reprise their roles for the upcoming sequel.
